Why we built Flamingo Flow

Most local service businesses do excellent work that no one online ever sees. The customer is happy at the end of the job, the technician moves on to the next call, and the review never gets asked for. Six months later the business is still getting one or two reviews a month, the competition is climbing past them on Google Maps, and the cost per lead from paid ads keeps going up because the profile has no trust signals to back the click.

We built Flamingo Flow because we saw the same pattern across every local trade. The fix is simple in theory and impossible to maintain by hand: ask every customer, the same way, at the right time, every time, forever. That last word is what software is for.

What we actually do

  • Connect to your customer list - your CRM, your booking software or a plain list - so past and new customers are both asked.
  • Send a personal photo request by text: a photo of you or a team member holding a sign with the customer's name on it, with a direct link to your Google profile.
  • Follow up with gentle reminders. You choose how many go out, or none at all.
  • Reply to every review, positive and negative, automatically and in your own voice.
  • Track your rankings in a dashboard: the searches you show up for, where you rank on each one and where your competitors stand.

Flamingo Flow started after watching local business owners burn marketing budgets on ads while their Google profiles slowly fell behind on reviews. The first version was a manual SMS pipeline run for a handful of local clients. When the same playbook worked across moving companies, cleaning crews, dental practices, and contractors, the system became a product.

The way we work

No review gating

We never filter customers by satisfaction before showing them the public Google review link. Gating violates Google's policy and risks profile suspension. Every customer sees the same review link.

No incentives

We never offer discounts, gift cards, or any other reward in exchange for a review. Incentivized reviews are removed by Google and can suspend the profile.

No purchased reviews

We do not buy reviews, generate fake reviews, or use AI to write reviews. Every review in every client profile is from a real paying customer.

Compliance by default

For dental, medical, and RMT clinics, review request messages contain no protected health information and align with HIPAA in the US and PIPEDA and PHIPA in Canada.

Every review answered

Every review on every client profile gets a reply, positive or negative, written automatically in the business's own voice. Future customers read the reply, not just the review.
